South Korean female pop group Girls’ Generation’s Sooyoung and actor Yoon Bak have been confirmed to star together in new romantic comedy drama titled Please Send a Fan Letter (literal title).

According to Korean media portal Soompi, directed by Jung Sang Hee, the drama follows the story of an actress who faces the biggest crisis in her life in the entertainment industry and a man who has to protect his daughter’s pure heart by writing fake replies to her fan letters.
Sooyoung will take on the role of Han Kang Hee, a top star who is facing the biggest crisis in her life in the entertainment industry because of a fan letter. Meanwhile, Yoon Bak will portray the warm and positive character of Bang Jung Suk, an unmarried father raising his daughter, who is suffering from leukemia, on his own. wants to make his daughter’s wishes come true since she is going through painful chemotherapy.
The production team shared, “We have completed the perfect cast lineup. Sooyoung and Yoon Bak’s amazing synchronization with their characters as well as the two actors’ chemistry and synergy are key points to keep an eye on. Please look forward to a heartwarming story that will simultaneously bring excitement and comfort.”
Please Send a Fan Letter is slated to premiere in November 2022.
